Group Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is designed to pay a portion of covered dental expenses. There are often different levels of coverage for preventive/diagnostic services and major dental services, and a yearly maximum benefit under these types of plans should be expected. Finding the right plan design with the network of dentists best matched to your employee census is the key to getting value for your money.

Group Disability Insurance

While most disabilities do not last long, the financial impact on the employee and their family can be disastrous. This income-replacement insurance allows your disabled employee to focus on recovering and returning to work.

Disability insurance is one of the most important benefits you can offer. Call us to talk about the differences between short term and long term disability, how it is different from Workers Compensation, and to discuss why this coverage is easily one of the best values in the marketplace.

Group Health Insurance

Access to group Health Insurance is easily the most important benefit to your employees. HMOs, POS and PPO plans and their variations provide many options from which to choose. Which is right for you and your employees can depend on several factors. Contact our office and we will be happy to explain the various plans and help you design the best program for your organization.

Group Life/AD&D Insurance

Group Life Insurance provides a lump-sum payment to the designated beneficiary in the event that an employee dies due to a covered sickness or accident, regardless of whether it is work-related.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) supplements life insurance by paying an additional amount in the event the death is the direct result of an accidental injury. There also is a schedule of lump-sum benefits payable in the event the employee looses a limb, sight, hearing or a combination thereof.

Employee Long Term Care Insurance

Most private health insurance plans (and even Medicare) do not pay for ongoing, chronic assistance that does not treat or cure a medical condition. Assistance with the activities of daily living such as bathing, eating, dressing and toileting can be incredibly expensive. Designed to subsidize these costs, Long Term Care insurance is quickly becoming one of the premiere employee benefit offerings. This coverage can be provided as an employer-paid benefit, a voluntary benefit, or a combination of both.

Long Term Care insurance can also be made available to select classes of employees, such as Executives, Directors and Managers. It can also be made available to spouses or other eligible family members. For more information, please contact us on the many exciting options.

See Voluntary insurance products, below.

Group Vision Insurance

Vision insurance and discount programs can be sold with a health or dental plan, but they can also be purchased as a stand-alone benefit. This is a great way to complete your benefit program without adding substantial costs.

Voluntary Products

Voluntary products are employer-sponsored group insurance plans that are elected (or declined) by each employee based on their own particular needs. If elected, their premium is paid via automatic payroll deduction.

While voluntary plans can be offered as a stand-alone benefit, they can also combine with non-voluntary benefits of the same type. For example, you may wish to provide a flat amount of employer-paid life insurance to your employees with the opportunity for them to increase (or "buy up") their benefits to a specified maximum. This is an excellent way for organizations to provide access to richer benefits without increasing their cost.

Minimum participation levels are required in order to offer these plans. Please contact us about how Disability, Life, Long Term Care and other insurance plans can be offered on a voluntary basis.
